*waits for cries of "SACRILEGEEEEE"
It's not bad, I like that they didn't stay very literal to it and did their take on it instead.
|
| |
I was expecting total shit, but this is actually really nice until it gets to the core-ish parts.
|
| |
The dude's screams are turribull.
|
| |
Jeese looks like a militant now
|
| |
This band should drop the core aspects and experiment with the post metal genre instead.
|
| |
I've never listened to ATDI to be honest, but that was awesome
|
| |
That was pretty bad
|
| |
I like it.
|
| |
The original is my favourite ATDI song, but this is pretty damn solid.
|
| |
ughhh
|
| |
comments are lolz, this is fine
|
| |
link isn't working for me.
|
| |
wow i should have said something cooler for my 100th comment.
|
| |
This actually is pretty decent, I like it
|
| |
Fail to the millionth degree. I'm sure every member of this dead band frowns on this cover. Music is going downhill.
|
| |
^ Hey, you're pretty cool!
|
| |
I hated the screams of beware, they were terrible compared to the orignal. other than that, it wasn't too bad. I mean, if you're gay.
|
| |
^ I am : (
And ehhh. This was fine. It wasn't fail and it wasn't incredible, it was a 3
|
| |
nooooooooooo
|
| |
not that good tbh
|
| |
mmmmm.....kinda gay
Good try I guess, but only ATD-I can perform that song well
|
| |
more of an adaptation than a cover tbh
|
| |
I liked it.
|
| |

dude tell me more about music
|
| |
This just sounds awkward when ATDI doesn't do it. I'll take this all day though: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBUtkPrANRs

Digging: Drake - Thank Me Later
hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
|
| |
^
I'm pretty sure the dig was a joke
|
| |
I liked the idea of not just playing the song as is and actually experimenting with it, but I didn't really care for this. Love the original song though.
|
| |
Awesome
|
| |
This cover lost all of the intensity and anticipation building of the original.
But this band has the potential in regards to writing good songs.
|
| |
Oh wow, didn't dig the singing much but the screams are pretty effin' nice.
|
| |
so shitty
|
| |
The dude's screams are turribull.
allrite
Oh wow, didn't dig the singing much but the screams are pretty effin' nice.
...wait wut?
|
| |
that was interesting, sorta liked it. fresh take on it anyway.
|
| |
Not gonna listen to this.
|
| |
Jesse will always be one of my favorite vocalists
I liked it, it's different, but I've heard covers FAR worse.
|
| |
Okay fine I'm gonna listen to this.
|
| |
Not gonna listen to this.
good choice bro
|
| |
I was not a fan of that. How such a heavy version of that song could have so little energy is a little bit confusing to me.
At least they didn't even try to sound like ATD-I. It was alright for what it was, which is a metal band covering Omar and Cedric so whatever.
|
| |
Yeah, screw the haters, I really like this.
|
| |
I don't like the vocals.
Until the bass break, I would have been entirely unaware I was listening to a cover though, which definitely works in their favor.
It's more of a reinvention of the song than a cover, I just didn't really like it.
|
| |
vocals are pretty not good...
|
| |
this isnt as bad as i expected but wow
BREAKDOWN RIFFZ
|
| |
Really liking the emotional screams, sounds like hes ripping his chords.
|
| |
Dude just because they weren't playing post-hardcore doesn't mean it had to sound so flat. Post-metal can be energetic too, it's all about building up the tension, but this was just meh.
|
| |
So is this brand new's vocalist? did brand new break up? did i miss something?
|
| |
wait that is jesse lacey...
|
| |
I'm not going to compare the versions because there's no way it could compare to the original, in my opinion. It's not bad though, I expected worse.
|
| |
First 1/4 was awesome. The rest is stupid.
|
| |
pretty meh. good idea though.
