That was really gay and cheesy but I thought it was surprisingly good.

I agree with Crysis, this was pretty damn cheesy, but rather solid nonetheless

I liked the previous vocalist better. I hear a bit of Kamelot's March of Memphisto in here.

Not a bad song. BTW "Die Affeninsel" is now available in high quality here: http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendId=175884914&blogId=534585680

another one?

it's pretty good...does sound a bit too much like March of Mephisto at times though.

The growls annoy me, he needs to stay in the higher range. This album is shaping up to be pretty good, but still overshadowed by the first two releases.

Also, the album art is pretty cool, i'm not sure how one can see it as poorly painted...

The symphonics make me feel like I'm listening to some really fucking old rpg from the 80's or something..

Not bad but a bit of a disappointment considering how spectacular their older stuff is. Hopefully the rest of the album contains some more memorable songs. This one was very powerful and epic sounding but for the most part it lacks memorability.

Yeah, keyboards are like a straight-up Kamelot copy.

The song was decent. Didn't blow me away at all though and it definitely didn't even come close to as good as anything on Sagas.

Yeah, the new song has nothing on Sagas. Der Ewige Sieg is definitely as good as some of the stuff on Sagas, however. I'm really eager to hear the 13 minute instrumental (final track).

Also...

First song that's a bit of a letdown for me. The former 2 released tracks were great though, so I'm still looking forward to this.
