I can see why he wants to abandon NIN. I read somewhere in an interview a while back that he's just sick of having to meet people's expectations for what a NIN album is supposed to be. I think he just wants to break the mold and do his own thing.

Like what was said earlier, this could be cool, but I'm not getting my expectations up too high.

The teaser sounds like it could be another NIN, though there's not much to listen to so I can't honestly pass judgement.

I predict it will be industrial (*gasp*), but mixed more with real instruments, but not necessarily just typical rock instruments, with the chick predominantly on vocals, though it could be mostly a duet type deal, too.

I'm always weary of boyfriend/girlfriend - husband/wife projects, though.

yeah for sure. Ghosts was great, and idk why everybody hates their newer stuff, its still really good. "The Slip" wasn't bad at all, it was actually pretty good

Yeah the slip is awesome and has over the years turned into one of my favorite nin albums (pretty good for an album he made in 3 weeks and released for free). Also people don't hate his new stuff, its more of a sputnik thing to criticize albums that don't live up to previous masterpieces (see tool and 10,000). Keep in mind most reviews for the new albums are pretty positive. Anyways, theres a new teaser video out pretty cool...
