Shame, I kinda liked these guys.

This was right next to The National Stream Link so I sort of did a double take at first but I never really got into them so, no loss I suppose?
| |
Their first album was pretty good but tbh im not gonna lose sleep over this
| |
^yeah. Flathead is a great song and some other tracks off of that album are catchy but I really wasn't into their latest one as much.
| |
if they had followed costello music up with something even remotely good, then i would be disappointed by this
| |
best news i've heard in a while.
| |
I hate this band purely because when I hear them it means that the Chicago Blackhawks just scored a goal.
| |
Go Blackhawks! They're a great young team!
| |
Nope. Preds in 6.
| |
I loved their first album.
| |
Man this sucks. I actually really liked both of their albums
| |

My thoughts exactly. Their second was pretty decent too.
| |
first album was good, second album not so much. at least they called it quits before they released a third album that may have sucked big time. quit while you're 'kind of a head'

WOH, WOH, WOH.
I was going to post this news when I put up the Wolfmother story. BUT this has apparently NOT been totally confirmed. The above post is real, but there have been subsequent posts that have been much more cryptic, yet tend to suggest that the band may still have a future together.
| |
Oh no :-( this is sad.
| |
good
| |
Excellent.
| |
I guess no-one saw my comment 4 posts up.
THIS IS NOT SET IN STONE!
| |
We were ignoring you fool.
| |
Apparently the above posters think you're a "pinhead" but I'll believe you. Feel like they have to release a new record to redeem themselves from their dreadful sophomore slump.
| |
hey cool
| |
the sooner I never hear this band again the better
| |
Chelsea Dagger was so overplayed throughout the whole of my first year at uni, such a poor song
| |
Aww darn, that's too bad. Such a wonderful sounding band.
| |
Loved their first album
