Asia was formed in the early 80's by (former) members of King Crimson, Yes and Emerson, Lake and Palmer. They've since gone through many personell changes and have contained members from other bands such as Uriah Heep, Roxy Music and Wishbone Ash. Asia's current line-up is the one that originally formed the band, and consists of John Wetton (vocals/bass), Steve Howe (guitar), Carl Palmer (drums) and Geoffrey Downes (keyboards).

Not sure if anyone cares about this since they have got almost no votes here, but news is news.
| | | Heat of the Moment!!!
| | | You framed an asia poster? How hard did the people at the frame store laugh when you brought that in?
| | | Heat of the Moment is a pretty kickass tune, didn't even know these guys were still puttin stuff out.
| | | lol these guys are old as shit... i like yes tho...
| | | Why are they considered a progressive rock supergroup? The individual band members participate(d) in prog rock bands, yes, but the music this band creates is anything but.
| | | Dammit TomServo I was totally going to say that lol.
| | | See you in Hel...sinki.

Heat of the Moment is a pretty kickass tune
Yup, and it wasn't until recently that I found out that is John Wetton singing. He sounded much different in King Crimson.
