Walker Covers Rilo Kiley 2006-09-05 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 4 Comments | Neo-glamster Butch Walker has posted a new cover of Rilo Kiley's 'Portions for Foxes' to his myspace.
Walker just returned from a short UK "tour", where he performed a headlining show at Islington Academy as well as both dates at the V Festival in promotion of his new album The Rise and Fall of Butch Walker and the Let's-Go-Out-Tonites.
Additionally, Walker has an album due for release early next year with his band 1969; Walker premiered the studio recording of the track 'Wreck Me' on Pete Jackson's breakfast show on BBC Radio 6 while in the UK. He also produced a portion of the new Pete Yorn album, Nightcrawler, released last week.

This is good news, I really liked his lastalbum. Does his backing band have an effect on his sound (ie do they co-write), or is it all him?
