I'm expecting the music video to be similar to Nonpoint's Miracle
|
| |
This song ain't half bad. I was expecting worse.
The chorus is pretty simple, yet oddly uplifting!
However, one criticism- the singer sounds awful at the beginning of the verses... Or is it just me?
|
| |
Decent.
|
| |
That was pretty good actually.
|
| |
ugg, they would choose one of the worst songs on the record to make a music video for. whatever.
|
| |
:D
but yea, one of the album's weaker songs... fans voted for it i think....
|
| |
On the album, this song is placed in the perfect spot in terms of flow
|
| |
I enjoyed this.
And they caught the bass players Barrel roll.
When I saw them on A Taste of Chaos(Yeah I know, you don't have to say it), I saw him do it and I was like whoa. Music+Gymnastics=Wet boxers

Atreyu don't seem like bad people, I'm sure they wouldn't be.
They've even tried their hand at experimentation with thier sounds, however the subliminal advertising within that clip makes me wretch violently.
|
| |
it wasnt that bad, actually.
i wish they were more like they were in 'Suicide Notes', but w/e.
japan is SO fucking awesome.
and that Taiko drumming arcade game is THE SHIT!
|
| |
Wow people are actually not hating on Atreyu for once, I'm impressed.
|
| |
"Atreyu don't seem like bad people"
Actually, a friend went to a concert when they were playing and the singer was chilling at the bar while the other bands were on and he got PISSED cause nobody came up and recognized him and started talking about how great he was.

Hmmm... yeah.
I remember reading in an interview that they were just in it for the money when they "sold out" on Lead Sails, but I think they were just kidding around.
Alex Varkatsas seems douche-like however, as you say.
|
| |
DO A BARREL ROLL!
|
| |
That was terrible, I felt like I was listening to a Bon Jovi song. I wish the band would have split after 2 albums.
|
| |
kool video, better than the Cannibal Corpse one, at least Atreyu put some thought into it, and nothing wrong with this sing guys
Atreyu is a very kool band and they are nice people, i saw them on Family Values '07, they were extremely humble and more respectful than alot of other sold out metal bands
|

song*
|
| |
good band....a little repetitive after a while but still.....solid band
|
| |
the subliminal advertising within that clip makes me wretch violently.
not really anything subliminal about it. it premiered exclusively on monsterenergy.com.

u better believe it. remember, this band was in the users top 100 last year. yup. atreyu is technically a 'sputnik band.' Let's let that sink in...
academy wins.

Video is generic as is the band.
ok now we can

also for what its worth, i actually think this video sucks. it's like the shitty 'in exile' video but with a band drinking monster energy drink in japan. i've come to the conclusion that if a band polls fans for the next single, you want your favorite song (in these cases, "You Were The King, Now You're Unconscious" and "The Weight," respectively) to come in 2nd so it shows that the fans want a video but the opportunity doesnt get wasted on a stock footage/failed DVD/touring video...

Atreyu!!!!
Brandon is a dbag...
|
| |
song was ok i guess.
instrumentals were mediocre at best
|

Atreyu!!!
