Its distortion. Not necessarily a bad thing, and obviously some people like it this way, but its distortion. Not "quality"... you're being totally vague what does that even mean

as someone who owns no vinyls or anything to play them on, i defer to prophet's technical expertise and recommend others do so as well. kid knows his video game consoles well enough to earn my trust about other tech...

laugh at people who are hating on vinyl. Personally there are some albums that ive enjoyed so much i want a physical copy. From that perspective there is no way anything can beat a giant 12 inch colored album with a giant sleeve and lyrics sheet. Especially not some crummy plastic jewel case. Warmth, or distortion, vinyl is just awesome.

Dad has a shitload of old vinyl records. Isn't "vinyl warmth" basically muddier bass and cut-off highs?

vinyl maintains all the nuances of the music that are lost in compressing the music to mp3. its got more distortion but that's definitely not everything, it's got a different kind of depth than cds.

vinyl is awesome, I don't really care about brand new though

I love the sound of vinyl, be it distortion or higher quality or whatever. I also love TDAGARIM, but I doubt I'll get this.
