with dream theatre supporting?
a testament to how fucking huge maiden is
|
| |
Messed up the format and the link... should be fixed now.
For me this is only short of Metallica opening for Iron Maiden. I'm a sophomore in college, seen Iron Maiden 3 times in my life, they're hands down my favorite band. I'm fucking stoked.
|
| |
fuck. i would go, but that would violate my dream theater boycott.
|
| |
PITTSBURGH*
FUCK YEA.
|
| |
why boycott 'em? didn't like their last album?
|
| |
i find pettruci's guitar work, while technically awesome, devoid of personality plus James LaBrie is one of my least favorite power metal-esque vocalists.
|
| |
UP THE FUCKIN' IRONS!!! PITTSBURGH BABY!!!
|
| |
I've honestly just blown like 5 loads since seeing this. No joke... gotta go, 6 is coming right now.
|
| |
then just show up late to the concert. that way you'll miss 'em.
jwt, man i'm jealous of you. how big are your balls dude?
|
| |
I've actually heard someone say that, if they deigned to attend at all, they'd be leaving before Maiden...
|
| |
this is incredible. Wish this was in the uk we always get the shit end of the tours.
|
| |
hellz yeah. i've been wanting to see maiden for years.
|
| |
what is bruce dickinson doing with that torch in that picture???
|
| |
I was the one who posted details about their new album first earlier and now its deleted, why is that? It has dissappeared.
The news I posted was just like this one more less..............
|
| |
'what is bruce dickinson doing with that torch in that picture???"
being metal, what else?
|
| |
so who do you think the other two bands they would open for would be? Taco? Toto? I guess it could be anyone.
|
| |
this is my perfect gig, why does cool things never happen in england
|
| |
closest place is 5 hours away...may have to make the trip
|
| |
I would, it's definitely a band that will be held among the elite in years to come and who you'll be proud to say you've seen live.
|
| |
i was hoping they'd come to philadelphia but holmdel is relatively close and i'm going to convince my family to give me tickets/a ride to the july 11th show as a birthday present. fuck money, seeing iron maiden live is one of my biggest musical dreams.
|
| |
fuck cant wait for this
|
| |
Pas de Montréal du tout ;(
|
| |
FUCCCCCCCCCCCCK No St. Louis.
|
| |
Cleveland, oh helllllllll yeah!
|
| |
YESSS
Phoenix is close enough
|
| |
"It is a bit of a dream come true for us."
lololololololololololol
|
| |
They're going to fucking Jersey but not Boston... -_-
|
| |
i need to stop jizzing over this before i drown and miss this show
|
| |
rumors are that coheed might be on this tour too.
|
| |
i've seen dream theater twice. first time when i liked them it was great, second time i just went because a friend had an extra ticket. i wanted to bash my head up against the wall. all they did were their ballads.
i do not enjoy watching 250 pounds of james labrie showing me how majestic he can be
|
| |
fuck. i would go, but that would violate my dream theater boycott.
lol
|
| |
Not fucking coming to Australia -.-
|
| |
In your opinion, not in mine
|
| |
I've loved most of their millennium material though, and the live DVDs have shown they can still rock it with the best of them on stage.
As for Dream Theatre, Black Clouds was a great album. I can't say anything about their live show unfortunately, having never experienced it.
|
| |
hopefully there is a defib around...
|
| |
Holy shit they're coming to Edmonton and not Calgary?
This is awesome!!
|
| |
I came so hard, Im gonna try to get Toronto tickets
|
| |
Might go to the Dallas show.
|
| |
"rumors are that coheed might be on this tour too."
Where did this come from!? I would jizz myself if this were in fact true...
|
| |
New album is called 'The Final Frontier'? This makes me a bit worried that it'll be their last. If so, they'd better play somewhere in the middle of England like Birmingham or Coventry, as I really want to see them live, even more so if it turns out to be their last tour.
|
| |
^That's what I was thinking, except I want them to come to Australia, not silly old England ^^
|
| |
what are the other two bands they'd open for?
|
| |
No Montreal = Fuck you
|
| |
Chicago is close enough to St. Louis Poet (though infinitely less cool because of the cubs and blackhawks).
|
| |
Was something wrong that a news mod had to edit this? Just curious.
They're going to fucking Jersey but not Boston... -_-
Watch your mouth, Jersey has a handful of the best selling venues in the nation. If I were you I'd make the 4 hour drive to Madison Square Garden, you don't want to miss this show.
|
| |
They better come to Australia.
Is anyone else also excited for the new album?
I really loved AMOLAD, and Dance of Death before that.
|
| |
"No Montreal = Fuck you"
Actually, they are playing in Montreal, July 7th.
Definitely don't wanna miss the Toronto gig, its gonna be so sick. I've been to a total of three concerts in my life: Dream Theater, Iron Maiden, and Isis. So this would be epic to see two of my favorite bands of all time play at the same venue!
UP THE IRONS!
|
| |
up the irons!
|
| |
Fucking yes, Pittsburgh! PPG Pavilion is balls for traveling and parking, but Iron Maiden is worth it.
Dream Theater... eh. Seems kind of weird to have one of the dullest live acts in history opening for one of the best.
|
| |
Nowhere even NEAR Florida...god dammit
|
| |
Fuck yeah.
|
| |
