The Knack Singer Dies 2010-02-14 by Skimaskcheck | 28 Comments | Doug Fieger, frontman of the power pop/rock act The Knack, has died today after a battle with lung and brain cancer. Members of the band have commented on the sad news on their official website, “Our hearts are broken, we will miss you Doug”. He was 57.
The Knack were well known for their hit single "My Sharona", written by Fieger for their 1979 debut album, Get The Knack, which went on to sell over 6 million copies.
