Hanging Garden loses vocalist 2010-02-02 by Zion | 7 Comments | Just shy of three months since the release of their sophomore work TEOTWAWKI, Finnish doom metal outfit Hanging Garden announced via Facebook that the band's singer Ari Nieminen would no longer be part of the group.
From the band's Facebook: "HANGING GARDEN and vocalist Ari Nieminen have parted ways. HANGING GARDEN wants to thank Ari for all the years gone by and wishes him all the best for the future."
No announcement has been made on the band's official website or MySpace page.

Check out Inherit The Eden, TEOTWAWKI was alright but significantly less doom... well, mostly because of the vocals, which is why I'm really not sure how sad I am about this news. And yeah dan, I should have said "drops" vocalist but I'm still not sure if he quit or was fired.

Well, yeah. TEOTWAWKI was kind of a nonevent, due partly in fact to the lack of interesting music behind the somewhat disappointing vocals, but hey. I tried to find something positive.
