New Pelican Video Posted

Post-metal band Pelican have posted the video for their new single, 'Final Breath.'

This song features vocals by Allen Epley (of The Life and Times and Shiner), a rarity for the mostly instrumental group. The video was directed by Matthew Santoro, who also directed the video for Isis' '20 Minutes/40 Years.'

it was pretty cool, but i like Pelican sans vocals.

the songs seems too built around the vox, unlike their other songs...

Maybe it's just because the vocals are there that it seems like it.
I personally don't think this should have been a single, since it is so different and is the last song (I disapprove of the first or last songs on albums being singles). Best song on the album imo.

Good song, but overall a pretty average album from a band who brought us TTFIOTWBTT.

I love the album. It isn't TTFIOTWBTT, but it's much better than average.

usually find these guys pretty hard to listen to, but this was very nice.

That entire song sounds exactly the same. There aren't enough dynamics in the musicality, and it ends up being bland in my opinion. The video is insanely repetitive, too....

Video was pointless, song is good.

Ok may have to get the album after hearing this. City of echoes was a boreforest and i just gave up.

They definately need to lose the drummer still though. I suggest me as a replacement.

Santoro's work seems like it's great as a storyboard, but never really works when complete.

great band, great song. I'm surpised how well the worked in the vocals considering the are instrumental. Definitely worth listening to if you want strong songs of the instrumental variety. Kudos mates!
