Considering that the 'biggest launch in entertainment history' crown belongs to a videogame (Modern Warfare 2: $310 million in 24 hours across the UK, US, and Canada), I can see music labels trying to include additional content for a major release like GOW3. I scarcely can afford five standard-edition PS3 games per year, so no GOW3 EP for me.

Could've totally picked better bands, but at least the genre fits with God of War. The demo for 3 is fucking epic. I dunno how this will be but I'll probably check it out.

Personally, I don't think about Metal music when I play a God of War game. The music scores of the previous games were excellent in thier own right.

They should've got High On Fire. Their sound matches GoW in my opinion. I said the same thing when Dragon Age got MM on their trailer though.
