hope this is good now that he is serious
|
| |
i have high hopes for this
|
| |
i don't
|
| |
plzplzplzplz be good.
|
| |
Not expecting much from this. Eminem grows more of a pop star with each new record...hes done nothing noteworthy since The Eminem Show waay back in the day...
|
| |
The key to liking Eminem is extremely low expectations.
|
| |
Well at least he's self aware now.
|
| |
Well at least he's self aware now.
And the nile is a river in ecuador. oh wait....that's not right....damn it.

Making Relapse, I was still working the drugs out of my system, so there was a lot of…just jokey ****. It was a lot of punchline-y, funny, shock value — kind of going back to The Slim Shady LP. And that was cool, but I’ve kind of flipped the page. Now I’m going for songs instead of one-liners.”
That gives me a slimmer of hope, although realistically Eminem is 10 years past his prime. Somebody needs to diss Haylie in a song.
|
| |
the warning was sick. he's still capable of creating lyrical gold.
|
| |
Think Ja Rule already did diss lil Mathers. Obviously homeboy's all about taking the high road.
|
| |
Seriously though, he is trying to suggest that Lil Weezy has lyrical depth. Pretty sure he now fits all the DSM IV criteria for borderline disorder.
|
| |
This does give me more hope for it, even if he is past his prime.
|
| |
agree with jim
when hes got good inspiration i.e. fuck you mariah carey hes pretty much the shit
|
| |
glad to hear him say this, if its anywhere close to the MM LP, ill fucking nut.
|
| |
^He'll never get anywhere near those heights again, if any of us ever think he will we're going to be in for a major let-down.
*cough*weezer*cough*
|
| |
relapse was not that bad
relapse 2 will be good
|
| |
Well, it'll be hard making an album more boring than Relapse, but I'm glad to hear his next album is more than just stuff that didn't make the cut onto Relapse.
|
| |
please let it rock
Relapse was a album with some amazing good songs on it.
hopefully Relapse 2 will be better
DONT LET US DOWN (again)
|
| |
Yknow I was thinking this would be real shitty but this news at least gives me some hope. I definitely think he still has the potential to be as good as he ever was, but I dont think he'll ever use that potential correctly.
|
| |
I can actually see this being exciting.
|
| |
Same, although I had similar feelings for Relapse.
|
| |
I actually really liked Relapse in parts, but there were lots of average songs as well. I liked The Warning but my hopes for this aren't especially high.
|
| |
Comparing Relapse to Slim Shady LP is like comparing rust to gold...
|
| |
^^ yeah.
if he's comparing the shitfest that is Relapse to the epic SSLP, then this new one is gonna blow nutsacks.
but im still exicted lulz. eminem is like the mudvayne of rap for me: i'm always excited and hoping that he goes back to his roots, but i know he won't.
|
| |
could be good, could be bad...
only one way to find out...?
|
| |
so stoked to hear this.
|
| |
better not suck. setting the bar low regardless
|
| |
eminem is like the mudvayne of rap for me: i'm always excited and hoping that he goes back to his roots, but i know he won't.
OMG! That comparison fits perfectly!
|
| |
^nice
|
| |
hope this is good.
Also, BallsToTheWall, last time someone dissed Haylie in a song (It was everlast I think) Em threatened to kill him. Overacting bastard
|
| |
Quitter is such an excellent song. Eminem was great when he was angry, he is terrible otherwise.
|
| |
nah eminem can do good stuff when he's not mad. like toy soldiers, rain man, the real slim shady etc
|
| |
That gives me a slimmer of hope, although realistically Eminem is 10 years past his prime. Somebody needs to diss Haylie in a song.
There's two things we agree on Balls.
