Why did Theodore leave, though?

They made fun of him for not having a hugemongous 'fro.

They're getting some angry comments on their MySpace.
People are stupid.
|

This is bad. Theodore is god of all that is drums. Unless Fleming can match him, there will still be plenty of unhappy peoples.

I'm assuming he's able to play all of Jon's parts since he's going to have to on tour. Maybe he'll be good. This Message Edited On 07.31.06

I like how they did this nice and quick with no pointless hiatuses, too. I'm sure the drumming for Amputechture will be fine, and hes played with them before.
|
| |
the drumming for amputechture was done by theodore before he left, and i read somewhere on the comatorium that he would play so fast that he almost vomited while recording the album.
so yeah, i kind of expected this.
theodore is a drum god for sure though.

Jon is a beast on the skins. Why the hell would they replace him??
|
| |
I am sure the replacement will be just fine, but I'll miss my Theodore.
|
| |
If he played on the demos they must have fired him because of chemistry issues if not for playing issues. Theodores drumming made a lot of the songs on the first 2 albums. Lets hope for the best
|

Yeah, Theodore was great. I'm sure Fleming will be just as good, though.
|
| |
BUT DOOD LYK THEODORE IS TEH DRUM GOD!!11!j@!21!1!! I'M NEVER BUYING A MARS VOLTA ALBUM EVER AGAIN!!!!
If he played on the demos they must have fired him because of chemistry issues if not for playing issues.
Yeah, becuase there obviously isn't a plethora of other reasons to get rid of someone.
Maybe with Fleming they might actually mix their style up a bit and do something different with the songs. It's sort of ridiculous to get upset over Jon leaving on his own.

Or maybe it'll be like when Neil Peart joined Rush and they got creepy and made songs I don't like. This Message Edited On 08.02.06
