What band got them into heavy music or who are they listening to now? Pretty standard questions but, I'm interested nonetheless.

Ask their bass player about his gear; basses, amps, pedals, strings, and picks
|
| |
Ask Guy what the craziest thing he has ever seen happen at show was
Everyone asks this but I wanna know

|

What are some of their favorite albums of all time?
Always my favorite question for any band/interview - you're the man if you do it!
|
| |
How the heck can they keep their sound flowing album through album, without repeating themselves?
|
| |
If they could tour with any band, who would it be? (Living or dead).

Ask Gunface how he developed such a distinct (and awesome as balls) style.
|

|
| |
Ask them what they'd be doing if they weren't in this band.
Would they still be making music, or something completely different?
|
| |
Wow I was going to ask if they liked Between the Buried and Me and then I saw that the guy on the right has a BtBaM shirt on.
Dan Briggs was hobbling around a The Red Chord pick in the studio updates for The Great Misdirect too.
What are their favorite records of 2009? Generic but relevant, I think.

Whats the meaning behind the album title?
Good luck with the interview.
|

Thank you kindly hahaha.

Lyrical themes on the album.
Are there any personal anecdotes, inside jokes?
Do they continue the theme of mental illness that seems to pervade their writing ?(well, Clients, and at least some of Prey for Eyes)
Often times there's quite a bit going on there (references to everything from Bruce Willis to Genghis Khan to bad Canadian TV, hell, their name's a nod to an opera), and despite having yet to peruse a lyric sheet, I'm sure this album's no exception.

|
| |
An acually valid one..
Does playing nothing but death metal get tiresome??
|
| |

also, for the red chord question, a red chord is a cut across the neck
question: how do they feel, individually, about their albums, clients in particular?
|
| |
Can we expect a dvd anytime in the soon future?

For the guy asking what they do about the rhythm tracks live,
I just saw them at a very intimate local show in Traverse City (the maximum limit was 150 people in the venue), and Gunface's pedalboard is huge. He runs a 5150 racked up through an Orange 4x12, then some sort of Orange (thunderverb, maybe?) through another Orange 4x12. He has amp switching to do rhythm trade off licks, and normally records the rhythm track with the looper to play through one amp, turns on the loop, switches to the other amp, and then plays the leads. That's what it sounded like, anyway.
And just because I think I'm cool:

How do you get your beards to be so thick and luscious?

Sorry should have but that better.
Ask them:
Does it get tiresome only playing aggressive music?
|

question answered
|

Tyler, please ask Guy why he doesn't do stand-up.
