Hm, might go to the show at Croc Rock.
Doubt it considering their stage manager robbed me.
|
| |

|
| |
Hope it's better than Ire Works.
|
| |
They've also posted two demos and there's a live-cut of a new song on YouTube that sounds amazing:

Yeah, the song was sick but the vocals will be the deciding factor for me.

|
| |
miss machine was better than ire works, but both are great. can't wait for this.
|
| |
I cant get into this band ....
|
| |
Band needs to lose their terrible vocalist.
|
| |
yea new drummer..is now billy rymer
|
| |
Miss Machine > Calculating Infinity > Irony is a Dead Scene >>> Ire Works
|
| |
That new song sounds pretty good.
|
| |
This should be cool, not a bad line up for the tour either.
|
| |
Calculating Infinity is their best stop lying
|
| |
Irony is a Dead Scene is VERY overrated.
Calculating Infinity is pretty awesome, but so is Miss Machine - it's kind of a toss up between which is their best. Calculating Infinity is some super-heavy and technical hardcore through and through but the more melodic and pop-influenced sections of Miss Machine actually do work too.
Their new drummer-boy is pretty amazing, and I emphasize BOY - he's a youngin'. He barely toured with any bands before getting into D.E.P. I highly doubt he (Billy Rhymer) can be up to par with Chris Pennie (that sellout) in terms of technicality, precision, and structure, but hopefully he fits a little bit better than Gil Sharone. I know one thing from seeing their studio vids, this album will probably feature a lot more speed from the drums than ever before, whether or not it will work I don't know yet.
|
| |
Anyone who calls Chris Pennie a sell out automatically fails.
|
| |
Did he tour with them here in australia? because he was still fucking awesome. Sounded like he could play just as well as Chris.
|
| |
I'm still a little confused as to why Pennie left DEP to join Coheed & Cambria, of all bands. They must not have been getting along or something.
|
| |
Chris Pennie is a sellout, and I'm glad to see some others realize this...
He has to rehash all of Coheed's old garbage just to get himself noticed. He can't showcase his talent by replaying Led Zeppelin tunes.
He was a major contributor and helped D.E.P. become what they are and there is no reason why he couldn't stay with the band. Why in the hell would you want to "jump" into Claudio Sanchez's ridiculously obnoxious and long-winded storylines if it wasn't to make some money?
P.S.
I think the general consensus is that Billy did a damn good job playing Dillinger's old material.
|
| |
OMFGGGG yay, lol no but seriously im really stoked
|
| |
I'm not in love with the band's vocals either sometimes but their vocalist is still funny and a badass... Examples 1 & 2

just because IIADS had 4/4 time signature's make it controversial.
Their best is Calculating Infinity
|
| |
I'm not in love with the band's vocals
Puciato's not the best vocalist in the world, but he's a good frontman with a lot of energy. I prefer Patton over everybody else, not only because he's a fantastic vocalist, but because of the songwriting influence that he brings to the table. All 3 of the vocalists they've had are pretty solid though.
|
| |
my most anticipated release of next year.
|
| |
I love the vocals. Miss Machine is my fav too, can't wait for this consdering Ire Works was a bit of a dissapointment ( still good ) but i think they'll get it right this time.
|
| |
cant wait
|
| |
another album that will probably be good and talked about, yet not that successful
|
| |
ire works sucked, i hope they step it up.
|
| |
nah it didn't.
|
| |
yeah, it really didn't. it's unfortunate that there's such a full "ire works sucks" bandwagon.
|
| |
agreed. ire works kicks so much ass.
|
| |
Always loved Dillinger. Consistently put out excellent material, despite the revolving lineups. Plus their live shows are the best thing since tits. Never a disappointment.
|
| |
i only have Miss Machine fromt hese guys, is Calculating Infinity necessary?
and Mr. Glass, what is that avatar from
|
| |
yes calculating infinity is definitely necessary
