Song wasn't too bad actually. Yeah the drummer has kind of a gay rig. Never really understood where all the hate for this band comes from, they aren't that terrible and Dan Jacobs is a pretty decent guitarist.

It's impossible for this band to write a good song.

Dan Jacobs is decent at playing what every other guitarist in there genre can play.

@zip it's probably the bad lyrics, lame image, and generally sloppy songwriting. They are all technically proficient though, and occasionally cough up something good. Case in point, the crimson

Ever listened to "Suicide Notes"? Atreyu's kept the same formula until "Deathgrip." That's when they first "Sold Out" (full verses of brandon, minimizing harsh vocals)...

Ironically, that's the album that a. sold the best and b. people on Sputnik, who by default hate Atreyu, view as their only redeeming entry. They carried this change to an extreme on LSPA, whereby Alex's role was to sing into the computer and occasionally scream during the bridge...

Ergo, "The Curse" is the high point of Atreyu.
