Protest the Hero Post Vid-Blog

2009-10-05 by Tyler EMERITUS | 17 Comments
Part time videographers and full-time progressive metal band Protest the Hero have posted yet another tour videoblog.

In typical, nonsensical fashion, the video features a rapidfire barrage of nonsequiturs, including, but not limited to: Rody wearing full jester-esque face paint, a skit about spousal abuse, someone's head exploding and the firing of a toy rocket.

Like the band's previous video blog's, the video features a cast of characters unfamiliar to anyone outside of the band's inner-circle and little to no actual relevant tour footage, though it does close with footage of vocalist Rody Walker autographing posters (while muttering profanities) for the band's recently passed DVD/CD pre-order.

Watch the v-log (available in high definition) here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=328yXq1gF98

Protest the Hero's Gallop Meets the Earth, featuring more sloppily edited tour footage by the band, is available now on CD/DVD.

to do that they'd actually have to go to the studio first and to get there they'd actually have to finish writing songs.

they only started writing in june and they basically toured non-stop from july until, uh, like last week.

It was decent. Kezia they basically gave up filming after a pre-production video but with Fortress they had footage of drum and bass sessions and some footage of luke and tim playing guitar in the studio

i'm actually glad, but surprised to hear that. with a band like this, i'd expect there to be bs throughout the whole vid and not much else.

Well that was only mildly entertaining. Best bit was when the head exploded.
