This reminds me of the time Faith No More were on some European TRL-like show and the show insisted on them playing one of their huge, overplayed singles (Easy or Midlife Crisis I think) so they started off by playing it then switched gears and played a Beegees cover instead.

The best bit is that they got away with it, and they interview the singer (drummer) and he just acts like he is the frontman. loved the vid.

The TV show producers must be major douchebags and know nothing about music not to allow Muse to perform live. They really sound/look epic while performing live.

They did this a few years ago when Origins came out. They faked New Born, and Chris and Dom switched while Matt just waved his arms over the keyboard.

They're pretty funny dudes, Dom especially in person. I don't know what I think of resistance. The music is good, but it's just doesn't sound like Muse.
