This is dumb, I hate when stars get all self-righteous about their shit getting downloaded for free. I listen to a lot of music and can only afford (maybe) 10 CDs a month. If I had to pay 15 bucks for every album in my iTunes, I'd be broke. If I could only get 10 new albums a month, I'd shoot myself. Just shut the fuck up, keep making good music* and you can sit and collect royalties on music videos, concerts, merch, etc. Most other types of artists don't charge each person for looking at or enjoying their art, that's not the point of it.
*And yes, Lily Allen is one of the few of her type (that being female pop stars) who actually has genuine talent and writes entertaining and clever pop songs. I'd rather Ashley Simpson got all pissed off about illegal file sharing and quit music.
And all these stupid comments like the one above that reads "lol smelly whore who cnat [sic] sing ohhh no" are fucking ridiculous. If this thread was about a male pop star, there'd be no dumb bullshit like "smelly whore." Give her a break and stop thinking with your penises. Yes, she is a woman, let's move on.
