September Hip-hop Releases

2009-08-30 by kingsoby1 EMERITUS | 37 Comments

Wow, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2? Hopefully it's good, I don't want to tarnish my memories of the first.

what's the deal with the Dre album? Is it just a re-release of the Chronic?

so far the songs from Cuban Linx II haven't been that great other than Flying Daggers, and none of the songs have Raekwon being the best part of it.

I think Ghostface has the it power to pull his R&B album off, unlike Kanye, not sure if it'll work tho.

This is going to be a good month for hip hop, Rae's album will probably be very good, Blueprint 3 might be weak but I'm still interested, Ghost drops something so I think I'll have to check it out too. This overshadows the other bullshit like new boyz with them skinny pants, damn.

Blueprint 3 is kinda weak, and Beanie Sigel's is sort of a mixtape anyway, and Kid Cudi's is GAYYY. but Rae's is so good it makes up for a lot of this.

Kid Cudi's is GAYYY

You're straight trippin'. KiD CuDi rules.

And yeah, the new Jay-Z is pretty meh. Only good track is "Young Forever."

its like Jay-Z was challenged by Kanye to be more of an annoying ass than him by releasing a record that starts off great, but tampers off into some really AWFUL shit.

Also, i've always thought that Kid Cudi was pretty fruity, this just doesn't change my opinion.

as in homosexual? i kinda think that kanye really is a gayfish... love his music but yeah, he likes the dick

kid cudi is nice, btw

The sad thing is he's using his production for harmful deeds now. "Kinda Like a Big Deal" is actually pretty damn good, better than anything on Jay's disc, but Pusha T sounds uninspired and felt more like jackin Jeezy than anything else, and the other member of Clipse just sounds like he's running low on good rhyming ideas.
