I guess I'm the only one who wants to go into an album not knowing what I'm going to get.

I pretty much never listen to individual songs any more, and I can't fathom why anybody would think 30 second clips like this would a) quench any thirst for hearing the record, b) give any sort of impression as to how the record will fit together or c) ever sound like more than 'OK'.

Sounds like I'll enjoy this more than BH&R, so that's a good start.

Lets see, we have already heard Uprising and USoE, so those don't count..

-Resistance sounds like more Queen style but a bit boring at the same time
-Undisclosed Desires sounds interesting and a risky song for them to do
-Guiding Light sounds like Invincible/Glorious part 2
-Unnatural Selection sounds really good
-MK Ultra sounds like a techno-ish song, solid sound
-I Belong To You sounds exactly like something off Showbiz
-Exogenesis will be incredible as a whole

Overall, sounds like it will be a very vibrant and varying album as far as style and genre goes. Kind of like the album cover.

i'm not gonna listen to them; 30 secs won't help me much until i listen to the full album release which isn't far off anyway.

I initially judged the new Queensryche album off of 30 second song clips, it was much better than expected after hearing the whole thing.
