This could be amazing or could be decent. And does anyone know how to get rid of those spaces in the article that come up when you edit it?

I'm so getting this
| |
Thisll be dope
| |
gotta a feeling the Contrell will be doing a good amount of the vocals which isnt bad but this will be average as layne cant be replaced.
| |
Album will win.

Ill admit I didnt think much of this when I heard about it but after A Looking In View I'm sold!
| |
I find the Laybe Staley vs William DuVall thing similar to the Bon Scott vs Brian Johnson thing: they both have a similar quality in their vocals yet each singer can put their own stamp on the song. A Looking In View doesn't sound wholly unlike AIC, so I'm guessing, unless the aforementioned track is the strongest on the record, that this could be a winner.
| |
I agree, I'm just afraid it is going to be the strongest track (if it's not we're in for a good one). What I'm really excited about is finally having the acoustic Jar of Flies-esque stuff mixed in with the seven-minute epics that are sure to be on there. It could make the record by giving it another dimension, or break it by ruining the atmosphere. I'm betting on the first.

| |
Jar of Flies is their best work.
| |
Agreed with Nagrarok, wanna hear this sometime though.
| |
Jar of Flies > Dirt > S/T > Sap > Facelift for me
| |
About my order, wouldn't put Facelift at the bottom though.
| |
Dirt ftw.
| |
This will rule. Cantrell always wrote and composed 90% of AIC's stuff, and if his last solo record (Degradation Trip Vols. 1&2) was any indication, this will be pretty great.
| |
DuVall isn't half bad as a new vocalist either. He's just obviously no Staley.
| |
If this doesn't rule I'll buy a hat for the purpose of ingesting it
| |
Let's just hope it doesn't turn out the same as with Humbug, which had an awesome single but was dissapointing otherwise.

And have a video for proof. Most important part.
