So, the most influential artist in music (debatable, but you know its true) recently announced his new album release. Well, what do people with brand new records usually do? They tour, of course.

In mid August, Dylan will embark on a summer ballpark tour, hitting 17 minor league stadiums by September. Tickets on sale during this month of July will run you $49.50, and according to show organizers each child accompanied by an adult ticket holder can waltz in for free, so long as their under 12.

Alongside Dylan their will tour guitarist Jimmy Vaughan, featuring singer Lou Ann Barton and musician Juinor Brown. Elana James will open the shows with her new band, 'The Continental Two'.

August 29th marks the release of Dylan's 44th album Modern Times.

Tour dates will include spots in Minnesota, Ohio, Kentucky, Georgia...then the next round is scheduled in the New York/Connecticut/Pennslyvania area.

He already came round near Cleveland with Willie Nelson awhile ago, but I might have to check this out too.

EDIT: $49.50? Never mind. This Message Edited On 07.01.06

50.00 isn't a bad ticket price for someone like Bob Dylan. RHCP with Mars Volta was $72 dollars a ticket.

From what I hear, Dylan can't even remember the words anymore, and his live show is awful. Anyone know if thats true?
