Rosetta's Temporal Lapse 2026-09-18 by FatheringhamDrive | 11 Comments | Self described 'metal for astronauts' giants Rosetta are due to release their final album on November 27th of this year, titled Temporal Lapse. According to the band members, the album is a reflection on grief and loss through the metaphoric lense of climate change. Lead single, 'The Native Hue of Resolution', can be listened to on their Bandcamp page linked below.

They wrote this during Covid but events conspired against them to get it properly recorded and released. I have a feeling this will be really, really good. At their peak, they were as good as anyone. Wake/Lift is incredible.

As beyond hyped as I am for this, the fact they're flat-out saying it's their final album definitely makes it somewhat bittersweet.
