YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSssssssssssssss
| |
Songs are too short for 40 watt sun standards.
| |
yeah nah
too watered down
this is pretty much 90% vocals and fuck all everything else
not that I expected anything better after the previous album
| |
Closer To Life is fine, but Astoria is excellent. Hype fully restored and vinyl pre-ordered.
| |
These vocals are so absent of nuance it is hilarious. It's like you're showing up at the restaurant elegantly in your finest dress, turns out your date is Katina Eats Kilos ordering a 5 pounder.
| |
can somebody give this 40 watt sun guy a juice box and a hug already
| |
these aren't up to the usual standard - as great of a vocalist as he is these songs aren't substancial enough to carry themselves. texturally they're really dull too. astoria is the better of the two but can't say it's by much.
| |
This sucks. Last album sucked. Band sucks now.
| |
last album was definitely their weakest but it had some wonderful moments - just lacked the consistency of the first two records, was nowhere near as rich. these are really subpar though. shame.
| |
I found nothing I liked in the last one and I dig lots of indie/slowcore stuff. :[[[
| |
first two 4ws are amazing but perfect light was pretty much perfect shite
| |
My thoughts exactly.
| |
The vocals are too heavy-handed for my tastes, but Astoria has such a nice vibe.
| |
They're both fine songs.
| |
Wow he wrote the same song again...two times.
| |
Their songs are so similar one wonders how even the musicians themselves can tell them apart
| |
Yeah band is hot garbage now.
| |
Not garbage, but simply lack of any progression or dynamics...
