He’s the one churning out the same riffs and solos. New guys sound great and tbh…so does Tim. The opening and most of the song sounds like a B-side from Oceans, but that riff at 0:43 is sick as fuck and I’d bet dollars to dog nuts that was Ken’s contribution.

Ocean and Powerless actually made me feel something. Everything after has just felt phoned in. They didn't completely shit the bed like All That Remains, but still

Not as bad as I was expecting but I guess with susi and pierce on board that was never gonna be an issue. Tim sounds kind of awful in the low to mid range now, he used to be super strong

Not especially fond of how tryhard this is, it's not like they're reinventing anything, even for their own standards. New vocalist is fine, but nothing will replace Josh. Blinded remains the best thing they've put out, but I'll keep an eye out for what's next

The replacements for the band check out, yet the whole song feels off. Maybe it's what happens after the opening riff, maybe it's the chorus, but it doesn't feel like As I Lay Dying anymore. The song isn't bad or anything, but it lacks that distinct aura that the band somehow managed to capture in every release (even if it all does kind of sound similar)
