RIP, the man had some absolutely classic tunes.
Oh man, rip!
watching madtv skits in his honor

Digging: Titaan - Itima
YOUVE GOT TO KNOW WHEN TO FOLD EM
those madtv skits were some of the best.
I've never been a country fan, but as an outsider I've always seen Kenny Rogers as a symbol of the genre, along with Dolly Parton. Kenny Rogers & Sheena Easton's We've Got Tonight was the song that probably had the most impact in Europe.
Digging: Aeternam - Al Qassam
I just dropped in to see what condition his condition was in. RIP, Kenny.
Digging: Kenn Morr - Open Field
Will Sasso's version of Kenny Rogers on MAD TV back in the day had me crying from laughing. Outside of that, I knew very little about this guy and his music. I'm 32, so he's a bit before my time. Regardless, RIP.
Digging: Heaven Shall Burn - Of Truth & Sacrifice
Scratch that, I know this song in the link.
Rogers was a rocker originally. I put his original band, The First Edition, into the database.
MAD TVs Kenny Rogers is the best thing they ever did
for real the
guy had some crazy surprising lyrics
When I was a kid , Six Pack was one of my favorite movies. RIP.
Digging: Riverbeds - Care
Goodnight, sweet prince.
He had some good chicken...
I'm glad he survived longer than the tabloids said he would. Rest in peace Ken.
