Pretty good song. Heavier than anything off Amo, but still similar in style to some songs from that album.

Did someone say that Phantom Pain was horrible? I mean you can make the case that the story was nonsensical but the gameplay was really solid.

From what I've heard about Death Stranding is the game starts out really really slow. So if you're okay with that short of thing you might enjoy it.

To be honest, BMTH are one of the few bands I can think of who are doing it right. Others just dive head-first into the mainstream world and use it to replace what made them stand out rather than use it to aid them in developing their sound.

The last game I played was Mario Mart on WII, so not being a gamer made me think they were releasing a new album called Death Stranding which I was shocked by being so soon after Amo.

Anyway, I always enjoy their progression. Song is fun.

I just played 3.5 hours of Death Stranding and I think it's a masterpiece? It's unlike anything I've ever seen before, especially for its budget and scope, and I can see why maybe some...younger....more...simple...players would get frustrated and hate the thing. The atmosphere is second to none.

Even back then Oli did his infamous trick of skipping whole bars.
He has always had an awful technique due to vocal damage from early albums.

I will say, in the clip you posted, his lows are good but that was 2011.

His singing voice has never done anything for me. Even the obvious vocal coaching can't make him sound any good.

Well, I guess when you gradually evolve your sound (from what your average listener probably perceived as screaming pig noises) into something more commercially viable, finding commercial success is hardly shocking.

BMTH are pretty successful even for a band that does this kind of rock music tho. If anything a lot of genres they play with today are a little dated

Everything they've done on Amo had a lot more potential except for the closer. I feel the same here. They headed down a path of ambition after ambition with electronics border-lining industrial-sounding elements, but still had to appease most of the mediocre pop-rock sensibilities. It's honestly more annoying than disappointing.
