Pretty good song. Heavier than anything off Amo, but still similar in style to some songs from that album.
|
| |
Yeah it’s a nice standalone track, but I doubt it’s going to be the future of the band commercially.
|
| |
this is fucking abysmal
if they continue in this direction specifically, next album is gonna get a justifiable .5
|
| |
this is fucking abysmal [2]
|
| |
Song is fine, could see myself listening to it for a week or 2 and then completely forgetting it exists. Basically like their last album. Its fine, its just disposable music.
|
| |
Has anyone played Death Stranding is it good
|
| |
dont believe it's out yet (least in the us)
probably will be bad yea
|
| |
hopefully it's a better game than the phantom pain
|
| |
yeah the game will prob be as good as this song, which is like a hard 2.5 so i mean
|
| |
Ugh I want a new game but atm it looks like a choice between DS and Code Vein. Minimal joy is sparked.
|
| |
Here’s hoping the game actually is as fucked up as the trailers promised it could be..
Fucking Konami ripping away Silent Hills I’m still fucking salty.
|
| |
Jesus christ this band is beyond horrible
|
| |
no thanks
|
| |
y'all tripping, that breakdown is fucking sick
|
| |
log out
|
| |
Awful. Can't stand his voice anymore.
|
| |
"Fucking Konami ripping away Silent Hills I’m still fucking salty."
THIS x1000
|
| |
thanks, i hate it
|
| |
"Fucking Konami ripping away Silent Hills I’m still fucking salty."
I will forever be mad at Konami for depriving us of an absolute masterpiece of a horror game.
|
| |
Songs crap and all over the place. Can tell they did it in just 6 days or whatever.
|
| |
song is a mess
|
| |
That "okay" completely ruined the only decent part of the song.
|
| |
So did you guys like it or
|
| |
Oli sounds rough even with all that production on his voice.
Suicide Season was best season
|
| |
Couldn't make it to the end of the song. This band shouldn't make lyric videos (or write lyrics period) as a matter of self-respect.
|
| |
just, no
|
| |
@chug73: ah, yes. the worst BMTH album.
@JayEnder: no bullshit I didn't even notice it until you said something.
|
| |
Good song.
|
| |
I dig it. The breakdown is pretty sweet.
|
| |
Thought this was worse than anything off Elmo
|
| |
okay track tbh, its at least cool to hear oli attempt to do some harsh vocals again
|
| |
Apparently Sony is going to begin contracting bands under their label to put songs in their exclusives. This is just the first one to happen.
|
| |
lmao elmo
|
| |
I loved amo, but that was a mess. So many cobbled ideas thrown into a pot.
|
| |
“Fucking Konami ripping away Silent Hills I’m still fucking salty.”
They made it even saltier when they released that pachinko machine with Silent Hill slapped all over it
|
| |
It’s okay, but a bit too all over the place.
And yeah the lyrics are awful.
|
| |
That was pretty cool. Not perfect, but still a fun listen. Some of Oli's phrasing was a bit weird, and I wasn't a fan of the repeated "give me a break" during the breakdown, but the rest was good.
|
| |
“I wasn't a fan of the repeated "give me a break" during the breakdown, but the rest was good.“
All I could hear was bloody One Step Closer
|
| |
Not bad. Better than the whole amo thing.
|
| |
123
|
| |
Band has always been abysmal but we're touching new lows
|
| |
“Band has always been abysmal but we're touching new lows“
“There Is A Hell...” is a fucking brilliant album.
|
| |
Yo wtf i think this is good
|
| |
Fuck you guys, this is actually (surprisingly) pretty damn good. Love the build up and progression.
|
| |
All I could hear was bloody One Step Closer
Which is a pretty good fucking song.
|
| |
“Which is a pretty good fucking song.“
Wasn’t a complaint haha
|
| |
"Ollys screams sound so good honestly. He really has a gift. Shame to never hear him use it anymore"
He has a gift to suck even harder in a live setting and that's saying something
|
| |
love this, but I’m one of the five monkey brained r************s who loves Amo
|
| |
“There Is A Hell...” is a fucking brilliant album."
[2]
|
| |
Nah, Amo was pretty good imo
|
| |
Song's decent. Nice to have a bit of the heaviness back. They're clearly fan's of Hideo's work with having a song called Shadow Moses and now actually featuring on one of his games.
|
| |
if y'all can stand these lyrics and actually see them as acceptable to be in a song, you are BUGGED
|
| |
This song is amazing!
|
| |
ok
|
| |
song's nice by the way, the bridge is atrocious
|
| |
God, this comment section is pure cringe
|
| |
okay song
|
| |
Did someone say that Phantom Pain was horrible? I mean you can make the case that the story was nonsensical but the gameplay was really solid.
From what I've heard about Death Stranding is the game starts out really really slow. So if you're okay with that short of thing you might enjoy it.
|
| |
This is exactly what I wanted from BMTH. Sorry y'all aren't as into it, but I'm obsessed.
|
| |
this is fucking abysmal [∞]
|
| |
y'all are dramatic. Is it that bad for a band to lean into trends, make some average music and gain a bigger mainstream following?
|
| |
To be honest, BMTH are one of the few bands I can think of who are doing it right. Others just dive head-first into the mainstream world and use it to replace what made them stand out rather than use it to aid them in developing their sound.
|
| |
Canine, you are a muppet
|
| |
People have always been so quick to hate on this band. Even if it's not their thing, one cannot say it's a bad song.... That's so close minded. I don't like country but I recognize the talent!
|
| |
1. there is a hell
2. suicide season
3. sempiternal
4. amo
that's the spirit kinda blew
and their debut is impossible to listen to lol
|
| |
@Alias: You're welcome
|
| |
Sempiternal
TIAH
Amo
TTS
Suicide Season (LOVR the t/t though)
|
| |
The last game I played was Mario Mart on WII, so not being a gamer made me think they were releasing a new album called Death Stranding which I was shocked by being so soon after Amo.
Anyway, I always enjoy their progression. Song is fun.
|
| |
"I really am welcome"
Of course you are, no question!
"This mans really out here hating on ollys screams and says amo is a good album. Crazy"
Sorry man, I'm just spitting facts here, can't do anything about it. Amo was quite good, but I'm far from being a fan of it
|
| |
Great track
|
| |
i can see saying amo is good and his screams are bad. i havent liked his screams since around sempiternal - there are tracks on there its hard to listen to because of his raspy screaming.
amo's intro track fucking goes OFF too boys
|
| |
"i havent liked his screams since around sempiternal"
lmao the last album he screamed on
|
| |
Tbf there were few screams on TTS, but they were there
|
| |
I just played 3.5 hours of Death Stranding and I think it's a masterpiece? It's unlike anything I've ever seen before, especially for its budget and scope, and I can see why maybe some...younger....more...simple...players would get frustrated and hate the thing. The atmosphere is second to none.
|
| |
His screams sounded good but this song was pretty boring
|
| |
Lol at the simpletons in the comment section going apeshit over a mediocre breakdown
|
| |
ive already forgotten the 'breakdown' in this song lol
suicide season cut up is also dope. great running mix
|
| |
"Has anyone played Death Stranding is it good"
UPS stranding is its nickname so...
|
| |
I heard a breakdown once it was ok
|
| |
I'm breaking down
|
| |
I've still got to watch Breaking Dawn tbh. Didn't manage to do that, I'm clearly missing out.
|
| |
The song is okay...Suicide and There is a Hell were their best.
I've never really liked this "pop with rly clever wordplay" they have been doing.
|
| |
the breakdown is the weakest part of the song to me. I like the electronics though
|
| |
Sir this is a Wendy's drive thru
|
| |
Oli has always been trash live lol
|
| |
That famous squeak instead of a scream fail he did will always crack me up
|
| |
This is so bad lol.
|
| |
This is better than almost everything off Amo and yall loved that fuckass album
|
| |
I love how divided the reactions are. Some people are loving this and some people think it's awful
|
| |
@Alias
Even back then Oli did his infamous trick of skipping whole bars.
He has always had an awful technique due to vocal damage from early albums.
I will say, in the clip you posted, his lows are good but that was 2011.
His singing voice has never done anything for me. Even the obvious vocal coaching can't make him sound any good.
|
| |
@Jeet: yea true, this is better than most of Amo and I loved that
|
| |
lol shut up you nerd
|
| |
who the fuck told BMTH that swing beats in butt rock weren't embarrassing anymore
sounds like some Nickelback shit
|
| |
This is bad. Amo was bad. And Being As An Ocean is even worse for trying to be this.
|
| |
“sounds like some Nickelback shit“
Apparently Mike Kroeger wants Nickelback to do a Slayer cover album.
Just thought I’d leave you with that.
|
| |
Jesus Christ, it sounds so absurd, it could actually be good
|
| |
honestly this track bangs. did some cardio this morning to it and it kind of dawned on me how fucking huge BMTH is. from a deathcore band to arguably one of the most popular 'rock' bands in the public eye. crazy
this bumps like amo. i can enjoy it
|
| |
^Why has nobody else ever brought that up? It’s kind of unreal hahaha
|
| |
theyre like at supergroup status now
|
| |
People actually like this band?
|
| |
Hypothesis :[
>Gyro pokes fanbase
>big rawr
/thread
|
| |
>someone gets banned
Then /thread
|
| |
ban gyro for consistently bad hot takes pls
|
| |
leave him alone!!!
|
| |
“^Why has nobody else ever brought that up? ”
Well, I guess when you gradually evolve your sound (from what your average listener probably perceived as screaming pig noises) into something more commercially viable, finding commercial success is hardly shocking.
|
| |
BMTH are pretty successful even for a band that does this kind of rock music tho. If anything a lot of genres they play with today are a little dated
|
| |
Song was okay. Would have been middle of the road on Amo
|
| |
Everything they've done on Amo had a lot more potential except for the closer. I feel the same here. They headed down a path of ambition after ambition with electronics border-lining industrial-sounding elements, but still had to appease most of the mediocre pop-rock sensibilities. It's honestly more annoying than disappointing.
|
| |
Why do you come here to shit on a band you don't like?
This Facebook now?
|
