Neat. Is stepping stone a cover?
It's written by Jimi and even though it is marked as "previously unreleased" on several websites, it has been released on a compilation. Maybe it's a different version?
Digging: Whyte Diamond - Scream in the Dark
I thought Jimmy Hendrix was dead.
I would guess almost certainly a different version. Or, I've read that some Hendrix posthumous albums combined a few different takes into one track, so maybe this has never been released before as a complete single take?
This nigga the new 2pac
Digging: Unleash The Archers - Apex
i know Hendrix recorded a shit ton of stuff that was never released before he died... but he's got to have the record for most posthumous releases ever at this point, right?
I suspect that might be Zappa actually. God help us when Buckethead dies though
live take off Blues and a hundred other bootlegs trumps this.. his studio songs were always inferior to live cuts.. nice to see the Hendrix estate continue to be as unscrupulous as ever on making money off his dead back..
Digging: Julius Eastman - Unjust Malaise
Butcher great dig my dude.
Digging: Earl Sweatshirt - Some Rap Songs
ha I was thinking the same exact thing widow
damn good cover, but I mean it's Jimi covering Muddy, how the fuck could it not be good?
Digging: Pale Saints - The Comforts of Madness
Reminded me I haven't listened to pink Indians in years
this will be a good im excited for it
nice one, widow.. fantastic band!!
Yeah Zappa has had like 50 posthumous albums. I'll check this out but I'm always skeptical of "new" Hendrix releases
