Charlie Simpson debuts new song 2015-10-10 by DatsNotDaMetulz | 13 Comments | As part of the UK TV series Singing in the Rainforest, Fightstar frontman Charlie Simpson has written, recorded and released a new single in Africa with the remote San Bushmen.
The premise of the TV series is to send some of the UK's best known musicians, including Simpson, Mylene Klass and the Happy Mondays (for the first time in over 20 years), to engage in the culture of some of the world's most reclusive tribes and write new songs with the indigenous peoples, with all singles raising money to help the respective tribes.
Charlie Simpson's song, 'Walking With the San', can be heard below, with links to download the song in the video's description. Simpson is on tour in the UK with Fightstar from October 17, the day after their 4th studio album, Behind the Devil's Back, is released worldwide.
