Album is pretty great. Matty has a lot of outstanding moments. Oh and the guest vocalist spots aren't nearly as bad as I thought they would be. I almost liked them.

I normally despise Quinn but his voice fits that section surprisingly well.

The prechorus in Losing Sight is one of the catchiest things i've ever heard

Honestly, his vocals more than make up for the lackluster lyrics. this album is shaping up to be better than The Hollow

I like this album a whole bunch on first impression, we'll see how quick it wears off. They seem to have made a quick album that isn't bland or predictable. I know there are chugs and normal melodic metalcore stuff, but they vary the song structures in subtle ways. You can tell they are trying to make catchy, accessible music while still having fun.

Oddly enough I think Miles Away is my current favorite. I feel like it shouldn't be, but I really enjoy it.

Great album, love Alive In The Lights and Miles Away. They keep improving with every release, and Matty is a great vocalist.

On the first listen through, I really, really liked it. Seems like there is more rock 'n roll in the guitar parts and solos, which is great in my opinion. The song with only singing about leaving home is a total curve ball for them, but I thought it was ok too. Personally, I think Mullins has to be one of the best lyricists in the genre right now. The lyrics in "Generation: Hate" are so perfect, I couldn't have said any better. I complain all the time about people's "internet muscles" on message boards and Mullins addresses that so well. Glad I got this one pre-ordered and can't wait for Warped Tour on Sunday!

It's a great album, but in my opinion not even close to The Hollow, the songs are just not as good. MMF is still pretty much the best of their kind.

Vocals on this are so, so good. Production is much better too. Will be equal to/better than the Hollow. Haven't listened all the way through yet, sounds really good so far though.

Gonna be the unpopular opinion here but I wasn't impressed. Sounded exactly like The Hollow which grew off of me quicker than I wanted to. Hopefully it's a grower cause Matty is an awesome vocalist.

yeah, at the expense of his lyrics

its like he just walked into the studio with a laptop and started reading some long winded status updates with melody there's absolutely zero creativity.

but, musics decent in parts. vocals are solid 90% of the time

2.5

Underwhelming, just like The Hollow. Sleepwalking was infinitely better than their last two albums in my opinion.
