Artwork is.....different, but that doesn't bother me. It's all about what's in it for me that will either put me off it, or get me sucked into it.

I showed this to my girlfriend and her first reaction was, "Intravenous De Milo?" :-D

Anyway, everyone I'm holding out to hear this because I did earn back some regard for the old boys after Death Magnetic...but keep in mind this supposed to be a 90-minute soundtrack to a film called Lulu...it isn't like they all sat around and said, "Hey what should we call the next effort? How about Lulu?"

It doesn't help my confidence that I saw the Youtube of them performing "Sweet Jane" with Lou at the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame show a couple years ago and it was....um...well "bad" would be a fair assessment.

Let's all hope they really surprise everyone and pull off something interesting and artistic.

Lou wrote this songs inspired by German expressionist writer Frank Wedekind's plays "Earth Spirit" and "Pandora's Box" Metallica is Just playing the music and putting their touch on the arrangement. so although its not a Metallica Album i'm going to get it.
