Summer Festival Info 2009-05-01 by IsItLuck? EMERITUS | 22 Comments | Summer is right around the corner, and with that, the festival circuit is also upon us. This summer, yours truly will be covering Bonnaroo, Siren Music Festival, and All Points West (pending) and will keep all of the economy-stricken fans with what they will be missing. Notice that many bands are making more than one stop this summer, so the hike will be minimal. Mind you, this list is probably missing a few festivals, but here are some of the marquee festivals. This is a really great idea, i'd love to see the same thing done for Australian festivals.
| | | great post, im trying to decide between lolla or acl this year. like the lolla lineup better austin is a way better city
| | | This Is Hardcore 2009 is hella shit.
| | | I'm so confused. It says "summer is right around the corner", but it's getting colder. But I'm going to Europe where it's going to be hotter. Conclusion: Writer must be in Europe.
| | | I will likely be doing the same with Outside Lands.
| | | Nick, can you please do me a favor & answer my question in your latest Girl Talk review.
| | | I think the "key acts" section of Warped Tour is a bit of a misrepresentation but eh, oh well.

I think the "key acts" section of Warped Tour is a bit of a misrepresentation but eh, oh well.
warped tour is such a back-assed tour with different bands at different dates, I'm honestly surprised I gave that much info
| | | Maybe it's just the thought of FTSK and 3OH!3 being "key" to anything :/
To me it just seems like Alexisonfire, InnerParySystem, Underoath, P.O.S., and Shad would be more "key" than those.
| | | I want to go to Bonnaroo, but I'm a poor student. Maybe if I fake cancer I could get pity tickets.
| | | look at those prices are you shitting me?
| | | not shitting you
| | | Thank you for not shitting me.
| | | I'm looking at the Warped lineup and crying.
Because I'm going to T in the Park (for the 4th time) this year.
| | | Also, Dillinger at Bonnaroo? That should be interesting...
| | | what's more interesting is if Dillinger butts heads with Coheed at any point
| | | i can't believe how many festivals bon iver is playing. that'd be like worst venue to see them ever.
| | | also, dillinger should do a fucking tour again. not at fests. they played way too short of a set
when i saw them in 2007This Message Edited On 05.02.09
| | | going to Lollapalooza this year
| | | Bon iver is so not good enough to be playing this many festivals. These prices are sorta retarded, especially given the economical situation...have to see how they do profit-wise
| | | thank you
| | | CrazyFool... Bon Iver is good enough. Bonnaroo is a bit dissappointing this year compared to others, I plan on road tripping to it in a few years after school is out. Pitchfork is pretty solid year after year too.
