The Number 12 Lose Singer

2009-04-09 by AbyssalCreation | 16 Comments
Singer and founding member Justin Pedrick has left New Jersey metalcore troupe The Number Twelve Looks Like You with immediate effect, for psychological reasons.

Stated the band via a MySpace blog: "We’ve seen a number of posts and comments wondering about Justin, and we are sad to announce that Justin is no longer with us due to personal issues related to depression and anxiety. It is unfortunate that he will not be part of what’s to come, but his health comes first and we wish him the best of luck. The #12 has always maintained a positive outlook, one that feeds off the support of our fans.

"We will continue playing and writing music for the wonderful fan base we have. Those of you that saw us on this last tour can vouch that we still killed it on stage like always. This will only get better as we tighten the loose ends. Come sing along as we tear it up with Protest The Hero and beyond. The Canadian border patrol better double check us because we are looking to rock and party harder than ever!"

=( The dual vocal assault was a huge aspect of The Number 12s sound.

How can they do songs like Like A Cat and The Weekly Wars live now?

I think they should call it quits, sucks how they went from a 6 piece to a 4.

I'm pretty sure the drummer does vocals live.

News is sad.

But I'll probably see them in San Diego. With Protest the Hero. So beautiful.

They were still awesome without Justin when I saw them. I have no worries about this tbh.

I love this band, however I'm glad it's not Jase who's leaving, I live his highs. Tracks like, "Aptly Fictional Description", "Texas Dolly", "Civeta Dei", "Blue Dress", and "Jay Walking Backwards" are beast.
