I'm sadly not expecting too much.  Probably two-four fantastic songs, and the rest being average. I doubt there would actually be any bad songs though, lord knows how long it has taken there shouldn't be any bad songs.

yeh, but it wont have the same effect, lets face it, izzy was the best songwriter and without him, guns up till now have only released a covers album. i think they will resemble the use your illusions albums to be honest, very good, but not classic.

o well im still getting it even though axl is an idiot...i guess just cause its a guns n roses album you know. i dont really know what to expect.seeing them play madagascar at the mtv awards, i thought it was an ok song. but buckethead quit, and he was probably the most musically talented person going for that bandThis Message Edited On 01.20.06

Axl is a genius, he has prolonged this album for so long, and the suspence for it to be released is unbearable, most people will buy the album good or bad mainly becuase the fact that they have been waiting so long for it. If Axl had released this album about 2 years after GnR called it quits he wouldn't have made nearly the amount of money he is going to make.

I think Axl got what he wanted, and that's to make Guns N' Roses a myth-type thing. He showed up at Korns tour-kickoff party. there's a story at rollingstone.com.
