Yeah, sad thing about his wife, if I were in a widely known band and my wife got a bad disease like that, I'd quit the band for sure to be with her.

Shawn is pretty cool, doesn't do much in the band, but is entertaining and has a good personality.

That's a shame. He's definitely got his priorities straight, but he was another crucial part of the live performance. His absence and Sid's current handicap will probably reduce the amount of energy onstage by quite a bit.

That's too bad for Slipknot. His reasons for leaving were really good so I don't blame him.

Makes complete sense. He was actually one of the more mature members, and his stage act wasn't actually who he really was, like many other performers.

Uh I have ulcerative colitis (which is similar to Crohn's), and though Crohn's is a bad disease, I'm pretty sure you can survive indefinitely with it.

I mean it's an awful disease, I'll be the first to admit it, but I don't think Crohn's is ever fatal unless you get a really bogus complication like intestinal perforation or something.

If I was in Slipknot I'd quit too. Lucky for him, no ones actually seen his face, so he's saved himself that embarrassment and can actually have a future without being "that guy from that really, really terrible wannabe metal band".
