Eh, I still want to see how this customization thing for GH IV works out. If this is true, there are some killer tracks here: MoP, Fury of the Storm, Toxicity. I have doubts about Master of Puppets though. Why put that on there when Guitar Hero Metallica is coming out soon after?

But seriously Tokio Hotel... wtf..

PoetandthePendulem: Aerosmith, too...

Oooh...excited about a lot of these. I see a lot of returning bands: A7X, Dragonforce, Slipknot, Rise Against, Guns 'N' Roses, Metallica, etc.

If this is the actual setlist, I can't help but be excited about quite a bit of it, although I have to notice that a lot of these songs are slightly generic, and I'm absolutely surprised that some of them have never been on a GH game before (Purple Haze, Paradise City, Don't Fear The Reaper, Crazy Train, etc.). Still, a few of them ought to be interesting: Assassin, Toxicity, 10,000 Fists, Thank You For the Venom, The Kids Aren't All Right, and a whole lot more.

One more thing: what's up with bands having more than one song? Okay...so it's only two, but still, I thought it was a sort-of unwritten rule that it would be one song per band?

Ahh, small matters. We'll see if they make a PC version of this (which is the only way I'll be able to enjoy it). This Message Edited On 07.24.08

I gotta say I wasn't too psyched about the poppier section... Mr. Brightside? Face Down? All Around Me? Misery Business? Ugh... just in there for the money. 3 Tool songs sounds a bit unlikely. Also is it just me or are they making way too much of an effort to include a song from every band that was in Guitar Hero 3, even if it's a bit contrived (Dragonforce, Disturbed, Slipknot, QOTSA). Oh and just the fact that this has Bat Country instead of Almost Easy (Rock Band) makes me prefer this

I thought this was terrible until I saw Crazy Train and Comfortably Numb, two songs I've wanted since the beginning. Satriani will be awesome too. Now I need to convince my roommate to get this for his 360. Haha Black Tide, awesome.

LOL@Seether. If this is true, I am really excited for Fury of the Storm because that means I can start loving Through the Fire and the Flames again without having the guilt that EVERYONE who never heard Dragonforce before thinks that is the greatest song in the world.

RJA should've had In Fate's Hands. I have liked that song ever since I heard it on Madden 07. The rest of their songs...um not so much. This Message Edited On 07.24.08

Paradise City, finally a challenging GNR song.

This setlist is great. I didn't think GH4 could match RB2s, but it just about equaled it.

Shit, I might have to get both now.

If they really wanted a ridiculously hard song, they should've gone with Highlander (The One) from Lost Horizon. The vocals would be the most impossible thing.

Adam (ElectricCity), I also found it very strange that 'Roland' would be on there. I found it strange full stop that Interpol would be on there, but Roland may have been the last track I was expecting.

Pretty good list...I'm impressed.

Tool is a surprise, a whole lot of the set seems centered around '90s alternative stuff, which is great, in my opinion, since I'm not a fan of much of the older stuff.

Some surprising inclusions...Muse's "Assassin" is heavy, but not one of their stronger songs...same with Pearl Jam's "Spin the Black Circle"..."Alive" would seem to be the obvious choice...or even "Corduroy".
