most of the older songs are pretty good most of the songs on this that are from the last 10 years are pretty eh (exception being ATD-I)
|
| |
Rock Band wins.
|
| |
ewww black tide....interscope is treally trying hard to promote that band
|
| |
Eh, I still want to see how this customization thing for GH IV works out. If this is true, there are some killer tracks here: MoP, Fury of the Storm, Toxicity. I have doubts about Master of Puppets though. Why put that on there when Guitar Hero Metallica is coming out soon after?
|
| |
Not to bad.. better than rock band's imo
But seriously Tokio Hotel... wtf..
|
| |
PoetandthePendulem: Aerosmith, too...
Oooh...excited about a lot of these. I see a lot of returning bands: A7X, Dragonforce, Slipknot, Rise Against, Guns 'N' Roses, Metallica, etc.
If this is the actual setlist, I can't help but be excited about quite a bit of it, although I have to notice that a lot of these songs are slightly generic, and I'm absolutely surprised that some of them have never been on a GH game before (Purple Haze, Paradise City, Don't Fear The Reaper, Crazy Train, etc.). Still, a few of them ought to be interesting: Assassin, Toxicity, 10,000 Fists, Thank You For the Venom, The Kids Aren't All Right, and a whole lot more.
One more thing: what's up with bands having more than one song? Okay...so it's only two, but still, I thought it was a sort-of unwritten rule that it would be one song per band?
Ahh, small matters. We'll see if they make a PC version of this (which is the only way I'll be able to enjoy it). This Message Edited On 07.24.08

I gotta say I wasn't too psyched about the poppier section... Mr. Brightside? Face Down? All Around Me? Misery Business? Ugh... just in there for the money. 3 Tool songs sounds a bit unlikely. Also is it just me or are they making way too much of an effort to include a song from every band that was in Guitar Hero 3, even if it's a bit contrived (Dragonforce, Disturbed, Slipknot, QOTSA). Oh and just the fact that this has Bat Country instead of Almost Easy (Rock Band) makes me prefer this
|
| |
I thought this was terrible until I saw Crazy Train and Comfortably Numb, two songs I've wanted since the beginning. Satriani will be awesome too. Now I need to convince my roommate to get this for his 360. Haha Black Tide, awesome.
|
| |
ugh red jumpsuit apparatus
but im pumped as hell for this, a lot of the songs are awesome.
|
| |
LOL@Seether. If this is true, I am really excited for Fury of the Storm because that means I can start loving Through the Fire and the Flames again without having the guilt that EVERYONE who never heard Dragonforce before thinks that is the greatest song in the world.
RJA should've had In Fate's Hands. I have liked that song ever since I heard it on Madden 07. The rest of their songs...um not so much. This Message Edited On 07.24.08

hey, angel of death.
rest are kind of boring
|
| |
Paradise City, finally a challenging GNR song.
This setlist is great. I didn't think GH4 could match RB2s, but it just about equaled it.
Shit, I might have to get both now.
|
| |
Master Exploder owns all of this tbh
Needs more Opeth...
|
| |
If they really wanted a ridiculously hard song, they should've gone with Highlander (The One) from Lost Horizon. The vocals would be the most impossible thing.
|
| |
If this setlist is real, I'm gonna explode... *explodes* whoops early detonation
^_^;
I requested 19 of these songs, I can't believe they got in their. If this game had
Protest The Hero & Alter Bridge it would be perfectThis Message Edited On 07.24.08

If this game had Protest The Hero & Alter Bridge it would be perfect
hahahahahahahahahahahahaha
|
| |
Singing Myles Kennedy & doing Mark Tremonti's guitarwork would kick ass in GHIV, I'm gonna have to wait till GHV for some AB
|
| |
'Leather Rebel' - Judas Priest
'Hallowed Be Thy Name' - Iron Maiden
'Angel Of Death' - Slayer
'Tornado Of Souls' - Megadeth
'Master Of Puppets' - Metallica
'Fury Of The Storm' - Dragonforce
AWESOME
this is probably fake though
|
| |
Doubt it. GH3's was leaked, and everyone thought it was fake. Turns out that it was 100% accurate.
|
| |
"The Kids Aren't Alright" should be pretty fun.
|
| |
I was really hoping for The Glass Prison.. but Pull Me Under should be fine I guess.
|
| |
GI said that panic attack was the dream theater track, not pull me under. both are great though
yay for AtDi on guitar hero
|
| |
Not bad...
|
| |
A bit too much Tool but tons of good stuff here. I wish they didn't have as many repeat bands though.
|
| |
Rock Band still owns just due to their support of DLC.
Half of the setlist is lame, the other half is radtacular.
|
| |
I'm thrilled At The Drive-In is finally getting recognized in Guitar Hero. Tool and +44 just kill the set list. Im going with Rock Band 2.
|
| |
Finally another buckethead song
|
| |
Thanks to Guitar Hero, America can now safely rest.
|
| |
Roland? Really?
|
| |
good thing i dont play this game. id be bored in a secong
|
| |
Adam (ElectricCity), I also found it very strange that 'Roland' would be on there. I found it strange full stop that Interpol would be on there, but Roland may have been the last track I was expecting.
|
| |
Yes! TOOL! Ill just buy it for those songs...am I the only one pumped up for Tool?
|
| |
the only song that really made me jump was 'song for the dead' by QOTSA. i really would like to play that one, but other than that could care less
|
| |
'Dammit' - Blink 182
'Smells Like Teen Spirit' - Nirvana
'Everlong' - Foo Fighters
'Song For The Dead' - Queens of the Stone Age
'Sweet Home Alabama' - Lynyrd Skynyrd
'Don’t Talk to Strangers' - Dio
'Heaven and Hell' - Black Sabbath
'Crazy Train' - Ozzy Osbourne
'The Spirit Of Radio' - Rush
'Comfortably Numb' - Pink Floyd
'Pull Me Under' - Dream Theater
'Leather Rebel' - Judas Priest
'Hallowed Be Thy Name' - Iron Maiden
'Angel Of Death' - Slayer
'Tornado Of Souls' - Megadeth
'Master Of Puppets' - Metallica
'96 Quite Bitter Beings' - CKY
'One Armed Scissor' - At The Drive-In
thats everything i approve of
some quality stuff, too bad the other 3/4ths is absolute crap
|
| |
I'd only play it for the Tool songs, the rest are meh
|
| |
and hallowed be thy name, of course
|
| |
Dragula is a surprising inclusion.
|
| |
fuck yeah a NOFX song, hah those fuckers are getting too mainstream, still NOFX is sweet, good playlist overall. This Message Edited On 07.25.08

Holy hell, Hendrix and Floyd?
I just came.
|
| |
bon jovi - runaway.
fucking. yes.
|
| |
Toto = win.
|
| |
first lots are absolute wank, but it gets way better!
even got Pull Me Under and some Tool on there!
|
| |
With a few exeptions, this is amazing... I almot fell of my chair when I saw the Mana song, getting this for sure
|
| |
Decent set list....Rock Band definitely wins.
|
| |
three songs from TOOL ..that's a surprise so is.... Roland from Interpol...although turn on the ....was a great album !!
|
| |
I like this better than the Rock Band set list... Dammit ftw :]
|
| |
'Crazy Train' - Ozzy Osbourne
'The Spirit Of Radio' - Rush
'Comfortably Numb' - Pink Floyd
'Pull Me Under' - Dream Theater
'Beat It' - Micheal Jackson Feat. Eddie Van Halen
'Hot For Teacher' - Van Halen
That's the climax of the list easily.
The gameplay to tis looks sick, I mean Stewart Copeland is a playable character fgs!
|
| |
I shat bricks at a few songs, namely The Offspring, CKY, Blink 182, NOFX, ATD-I, SOAD. But Rock Band has a better song list.
|
| |
Pretty good list...I'm impressed.
Tool is a surprise, a whole lot of the set seems centered around '90s alternative stuff, which is great, in my opinion, since I'm not a fan of much of the older stuff.
Some surprising inclusions...Muse's "Assassin" is heavy, but not one of their stronger songs...same with Pearl Jam's "Spin the Black Circle"..."Alive" would seem to be the obvious choice...or even "Corduroy".
|
| |
Hallowed be thy name, master of puppets, tornado of souls, and fury of the stormy are awesome
|
| |
I like it better than the Rockband one. Hallowed Be Thy Name!!!!
|
| |
johnny b good!
