I'm hearing a bit of Jonathan Davis in this and that certainly is an acquired taste!

Maybe thats what evil meant by corny ... Korny??

Bands' got some powermetal influence and history, so there is naturally an amount of cheese present. I don't care, I enjoy the shit out of them.

I am NOT a fan of the direction they've been heading over the past few records. They have absolutely no bite left to their sound.

Good song, albeit indeed a bit corny. Problem is that they always sound the exact same since Hymns for the broken. Hope they will experiment a bit more on the new one, but I have doubts.

This really isn’t Evergrey without Henrik and Jonas. As one of the biggest Evergrey fans on the planet, they’ve just lost their way - especially from the last album and this upcoming one. It isn’t bad, it just isn’t particularly inspired or memorable either.
