New Einar single with KORK 2025-11-15 by Kars Landman | 4 Comments | Leprous' angelic voice has released a new single, featuring the Norwegian Radio Orchestra.
The track is called Stella Mortua and can be listened to below.
Einar comments: “Stella Mortua is one of the darkest and most grandiose pieces I’ve ever written — a fusion of progressive metal and cinematic orchestration, recorded by the incredible Norwegian Radio Orchestra. It explores how envy and insecurity can quietly thrive beneath the surface of success. In this world, demons wear tuxedos, and pride slowly turns to paralysis. With Stella Mortua, the Einar Solberg project has truly found its sound: highly dynamic, orchestral and cinematic progressive metal with an emotional core. I’m going all the way with this.”

If the whole follow-up will sound like this color me VERY excited!
| | | overwrought shite to be brutally honest. that falsetto section is painful. the ‘metal’ elements are so superfluous too.
| | | Loved this, the orchestra is so cool and I didn't expect that scream
| | | Fuckin slick. The instrumentation is incredible and yeah nice use of the scream here. I think he's becoming more comfortable with the rough vox again, which can only inspire more confidence for new Leprous output. He did the death growls on their most recent live vid of Passing.
