Jürgen Bartsch passes at 55 2025-08-29 by PizzaBear | 2 Comments | Jürgen Bartsch, the bassist and chief songwriter for extreme metal band Bethlehem, has passed away from an undisclosed illness. The news was shared on social media by current Bethlehem singer Yvonne “Onielar” Wilczynska.
While the band's sound has evolved over the years and their 10 albums, their early work is seen as a pioneering force in Depressive/Suicidal Black Metal (DSBM).
