coldrain are Incomplete 2025-03-27 by arthropod | 10 Comments | Japanese post-hardcore band coldrain released a music video for their latest single "Incomplete" - their first release after the recent transfer to Century Media Records.
coldrain's vocalist, Masato, about the contract:
“We are extremely pleased to announce our partnership with Century Media Records. This is a new chapter in our journey, full of hope and confidence. We hope to create a strong team together, improve our skills and reach an audience around the world more than ever before. We are confident in sharing our passion for music we love, we have the energy to connect each other and create something truly special. We can’t wait to see where this journey will take us!”
The band's statement on "Incomplete":
"When we draw closer to perfection, we lose something deeply human. Perhaps it is our incompleteness and the longing to be perfect that makes us truly human. We must never forget what it means to be human. We must never forget that we are not alone. We must never forget to care for one another. This is an anthem for the imperfect, the incomplete, the beautifully human."

Good track, nice and catchy the way that Coldrain know best. These guys remain as consistent as ever.

Initial listen's sounding like one of their lesser songs, but it's still really good

Unbelievably consistent band. I’ll be checking this out for sure!

Loved Nonnegative so I’m hyped to see what they’re gonna do next!

Good jam.

Yeah it’s a banger and a half

They sound like a fusion between peak Trivium and peak Parkway Drive

A few months later, this might actually be my favourite by them. The songwriting's beyond solid, we'll see how it turns out live.
