Oh boy. :0
|
| |
Hail!
|
| |
I thought they legit had a farewell tour years ago
Hmmm
Someone tell them to play Thrill of It All and Sabbra Cadabra
|
| |
Im considering a flight to birmingham for this, but lord i will be broke afterwards
|
| |
"The all-day event will also feature a supergroup of musicians. Artists announced so far include Billy Corgan (The Smashing Pumpkins), David Draiman (Disturbed), Duff McKagan & Slash (Guns ‘n Roses), Frank Bello (Anthrax), Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit), Jake E Lee, Jonathan Davis (Korn), KK Downing, Lzzy Hale (Halestorm), Mike Bordin (Faith No More), Rudy Sarzo, Sammy Hagar, Scott Ian (Anthrax), Sleep Token ii (Sleep Token), Papa V Perpetua (Ghost), Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine), Wolfgang Van Halen and Zakk Wylde."
|
| |
I can understand many things, but Fred Durst and Sleep Token here is beyond my tolerance.
Hold up, the nickname is Vessel II, not "Sleep Token II". They can't even name them right.
|
| |
Who invited sleep token to this?
|
| |
considering to buy a ticket but being broke is no joke i guess
|
| |
oh brother.
|
| |
"I thought they legit had a farewell tour years ago"
Not only that, but Ozzy said years later (twice, I may add) that they were never going to continue. So much for that, I guess.
|
| |
you gotta be sleep joking!
|
| |
tickets for this are going to be impossible to get lol
|
| |
How is Ozzy holding up these days? Good for him if he feels like he has the stamina and ability to put on a good show.
|
| |
Let’s find out shall we?
Me: How you doin’ Ozzy?
Ozzy: (Incomprehensible gibberish)….mate”
|
| |
And what's crazy (train) is that he mumbles so incoherently in interviews and shit that you'd think his stage performance would suffer from the same issues. But, no, his singing voice has so much clarity. Or, at least, had clarity. Parkinson's fucks your vocal cords up as it progresses so how he performs in July will be interesting.
|
| |
they're still on powerful drugs...just these ones are now prescribed by the NHS
|
| |
Reporter: Good evening Ozzy!
Ozzy: ........................WHAT????
|
| |
HELLO THERE
https://youtu.be/a1k1sFzM9WU?si=HfvCDFKFJYxkD1FZ
|
| |
More names to be confirmed? What time does the thing start, sunrise?
|
| |
Wild lineup, if that were anywhere in the US I’d be there
|
| |
Wish I had $1 for every time Ozzy has done a farewell tour and then a reunion tour between Sabbath and his self-titled band. Honestly these dudes are geriatric as fuck at this point and I’m not even interested in the money making scheme.
|
| |
It’s awesome but gorguts/dm should b there
|
| |
I wish they did a world tour with this lineup!!!
|
| |
Fred Durst and Aston.
Hell is more appealing.
|
| |
bill ward deserves this though, they're legends let them do what they want before they're gone
|
| |
Ozzy and Bill are not in good conditions to perform a 60-minute show..
|
| |
commenters acting like this is a full on tour schedule and not a one-off charity event lol
would've loved to have seen them with Bill
|
| |
Ozzy is like Biden; sharp as a tack. Never been better!
|
| |
finally some good fucking news
|
| |
Whoa. With Bill! Can't believe they invited also Jake E Lee. And why KK Downing and not Halford. And Sleep Token? lol wut
Anyway long live Black Sabbath 🖤 kudos to them for doing something like this for charity. True kings.

DEDICATION TO DIO
BLACK SABBATH, LIMP BIZKIT, FOREVER
DIO, GOD BLESS
|
| |
My theory is the "supergroup" will be supplementary to the Sabbath set, coming in and out during their set to either help with songs Bill/Ozzy can't do alone anymore, or playing whole songs between Sabbath performances. Cos these guys are in their late 70s at this point and doing a full set of that intensity is gonna be a physical challenge even without the health problems some of them have now.
|
| |
There’s no way this goes ahead.
At most you’ve got Ozzy mumbling his way through paranoid from a wheelchair.
|
| |
If Keith Richards can do a full tour at this age, they will more than manage one show
|
| |
Oh WOW!
|
| |
let these geezers rest already man
|
| |
I can't imagine Bill Ward being able to play the whole set
|
| |
"I’m not even interested in the money making scheme."
A clear demonstration of how low basic literacy has fallen.
I imagine they're wheel Ozzy out for a song or two, but the majority of the show will be him supported by all the vocalists. It's for a good cause so, even if it sucks, the money is still righteous.
|
| |
It will suck for sure.
And if its for a really good cause why the need to create all this hype? We all know why.
|
| |
I hope Jake E Lee has a great show
|
| |
My buddy is going to try and get two standing tickets for this, line up is insane really, already got refundable hotel room booked just in case we get them.
Wish me luck...
|
| |
ozzy’s got parkinsons, it’s gonna suck
|
| |
If I'm being honest I'd more be going for the other bands (though of course I like Sabbath material and would be intrigued if they can put on any sort of decent show).
I do feel it might get cancelled due to the health of the Sabbath lads.
I watched them in Hyde Park in 2014 and that day Soundgarden stole the show which was a surprise, Motorhead were decent too (my first and last time watching Lemmy).
