Maximum the Hormone love America 2023-08-07 by DatsNotDaMetulz | 18 Comments | Eclectic Japanese metal group Maximum the Hormone have released a music video for their latest single, "Koi no Amerika" (Love America). The song was released in July in a limited physical format with the track title and lyrics hidden, with fans in Japan tasked with attempting to figure out both before the official release of the music video on 6 August 2023.
Limited quantities of the CD Single are still available. No news has yet been released regarding a possible full-length, which would be their first studio release since 2018 EP Korekara no Menkata Cottelee no Hanashi wo Shiyou and first full-length since 2013's Yoshu Fukushu. It is expected that any future album or EP will include the full versions of tracks "Kamigami" (originally recorded for the Record of Ragnarok anime) and "Hawatari 2-oku Centi" (originally recorded for Chainsaw Man season 2), which so far have only seen the TV edits released.

@johnnyofthewell: they've released a couple of EPs/mini-albums/whatever they're classified as since that album and they're great. Honestly, I think "Korekara no Menkata Cottelee no Hanashi wo Shiyou" might just be my favorite of their releases. Definitely worth checking out.
Anyways, if they love America so much I hope that means they're planning on touring here LOL
