I've already made my objection to the AI art clear in other threads, so I'll tread some new ground here. The video's incredibly boring. Style and mechanics aside, it's just people walking with Spencer shuffling around on a stage. They dedicate a solid minute of this *eight-minute* song to a car driving in a straight line through incomprehensible locales. Which, I guess one could make the argument that it's a thematic choice to complement the screams of "where do we belong" over this section, but I feel like there's so many better ways to do this. The backgrounds also aren't anything I haven't seen in recent Veil of Maya music videos.

And the song itself is... fine. It's got some gems in it, the chorus in particular scratches the brain itch really well and makes me nostalgic for some of my favorite Periphery songs, plus there's a juicy blast beat around the five minute mark. But aside from that it can really be a slog to get through. It's four or five minutes too long and feels like a song I would write, which isn't a compliment. Also there's a mumble rap section for some reason. Really the best thing I can say about this is that it's making me listen to P2 again.

I don't mind Periphery, but god, the dude's clean vocals have always cringed me out. Not my cup of tea at all.

It's grown on me a bit, but this is my least favorite periphery song since The Price is Wrong. There were some interesting vocal melodies that spencer chose which I liked, but the structure of the song overall is not pleasant, like the guys are just putting a bunch of pieces together and calling it good which is what I felt about Zagreus. It's at LEAST 2 minutes too long as well

Video’s super interesting and kept my attention. The song is just as interesting because the instrumentals almost take a backseat to Spencer’s vocals for once. It’s also extremely melodic without giving up a dark and heavy atmosphere, especially towards the end.

I feel the ai shit fits their style. Also I don't think it's pure ai. It's clearly been built on and manipulated

Song is pretty cool though. Has a lot of Periphery II Vibes imo (which is pretty good)

But the problem still is that this band sounds so bold, self-pleasing and smuggy that it's hurtful to hear. That songwriting and song lenghts drive me crazy. It doesn't even had to be 8 minutes (needed to skip at minute 5:00 and the cheesy outro is just awkward)

They always want to sound sooo progressive, soo American and sooo cool that it's difficult for me to follow (as an European guy). And they always think that they are the greatest and most influential band of the world, I guess. I definitely start to boycott Periphery now urgh

Was sat anticipating a banger solo after that build-up starting around 4mins in which never came to be. Been a huge Periphery fan since the Bulb days but have to say that nothing's really hit the same since P2.

Also, i'll take Jake's electronic passages > these orchestral pieces that feel completely detached and shoehorned in. Maybe that'll change when hearing in the context of the whole album.

Vocals are great, really suits this song. Spence has only got better and better over time.

Ever since Juggernaut their music has this peculiar effect of being generally disliked at first, especially when you try and tie the content to their previous release, but somehow it ends up growing on you. I was 100% on the "this song is way too fucking long" bandwagon at first, but after a few more listens I actually enjoy how spaced out this track is. It rarely loops around back to anything and has moments throughout that are really spectacular. I don't know how they do this shit.
