Peter Gabriel shares new song

2023-01-06 by Fernando Alves | 13 Comments
Peter Gabriel has shared a new song, titled 'Panopticom', featuring Brian Eno on synthesizer. It's the iconic singer's first single since 2016.

Peter Gabriel comments: "The first song is based on an idea I have been working on to initiate the creation of an infinitely expandable accessible data globe: The Panopticom. We are beginning to connect a like-minded group of people who might be able to bring this to life, to allow the world to see itself better and understand more of what’s really going on."

Bassist Tony Levin, guitarist David Rhodes, and drummer Manu Katché complete the lineup.

great lineup and interesting concept, appreciate this guy doing interesting things, or at least putting a lot of thought into what he's doing, his former bandmates seem to be mindless in comparison. No wonder he left the band

Marveling at the fact that a current event in Jan 2023 is "Peter Gabriel has shared a new song [...] featuring Brian Eno on synthesizer." 2023.
