Kveldssanger - Part II

2022-08-17 by DungeonBoy | 18 Comments
Haavard, the acoustic brainchild of mastermind Håvard Jørgensen aka Lemarchand of early Ulver and Satyricon fame has announced his self-titled debut solo album "Haavard", to be released November 11, 2022.

With his passion for the darker side of music re-kindled, Jørgensen decided to pick up the loose ends of the beautiful thread that Ulver's "Kveldssanger" had left behind.
Pre-order "Haavard" as 2CD artbook, on CD or vinyl now:

This is cool as hell; Musk Ox do something similar but I’ve never heard anything quite like Kveldssanger

Very hype.

Flying a drone over a Scandinavian forest automatically makes for a great music video, by the way. That sounds snarky but it's not.

Yeah track is gorgeous, especially the violin & cello section (no surprise there with a guest appearance from Musk Ox's violinist and cellist).

Kveldssanger ptII is Empryrium's Where At Night The Wood Grouse Plays [2].

Vali comes close though.

This is perfect for the coming Autumn season, needed more gloomy acoustic folky stuff–and former-Ulver makes it even better

This track is so good, I've listened to it at least a dozen times. Very much looking forward to the full-length.
