Wiley wanted by police 2022-05-14 by You say proto-this, I say post-that, lets call the whole thing skronk | 13 Comments | The grime artist Wiley (real name Richard Cowie) has had a wanted notice issued for him by the Metropolitan police on twitter. The notice states that he is wanted 'for failing to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on 11/11/21 for Burglary and Assault by Beating'. It also states that his last known location was Tower Hamlets and that he frequents Tower Hamlets and Newham.
The charges claim that in August 2021 Wiley broke into a flat in East London and broke some plates before assaulting ex-kickboxer Ali Jacko. It is believed that Wiley had been using Jacko's studio before the covid pandemic. The police are appealing for any information as it has now been 6 months since he was due to appear.
