Iglooghost announces 2nd album 2021-02-04 by fsamhero | 5 Comments | UK experimentalist producer Iglooghost has announced his sophomore album LEI LINE EON, releasing April 2 on his independent record label, Gloo. The record is an expansion to the fictional universe defined on his 2017 debut, "Neō Wax Bloom" and his 2018 twin EPs "Clear Tamei" and "Steel Mogu".
The album itself is conceptually themed around an esoteric musical tradition called "Lei Music".
"It’s essentially a type of music that toys with using specific combinations of sounds and arrangements to summon these strange morphing inkblot beings." Iglooghost says, in an interview with Loud and Quiet Magazine. "When the music is played with specific sequencing and combinations, different entities appear, and their appearance corresponds with the music."
Vocal features on "LEI LINE EON" include fellow Gloo member BABii, and art-pop singer-songwriter LOLA.
